Our Saphira® adhesives and cleaners are tailored precisely to
the requirements of your Heidelberg® equipment. They are
matched with our adhesive binders during the development process.
As a result, they fit perfectly with your production needs - from
startup and production to cleaning.
Spine gluing with hotmelt. Saphira Glue Hotmelt Spine 130 is
an adhesive with clean cutting characteristics and a good open time
for the challenging paperback and soft cover book markets. It
offers an outstanding price-performance ratio and exhibits
excellent adhesion on many coated and uncoated stocks. It can be
deployed flexibly in the spine gluing sector
and covers a variety of applications. The adhesive is white
and retains the same color when set.
Side gluing with hotmelt. Saphira Glue Hotmelt Side 231 is
ideal for the majority side gluing applications. This adhesive
delivers impressive results through excellent long-term tackiness
(pressure sensitive) - while also providing an excellent
price-performance ratio. In production the glue retains its clear
transparency for an extended period. On setting the glue reverts
into a pale colored transparency tone.
Spine gluing with PUR. Saphira Glue PUR is a flexible,
reactive hotmelt that quickly attains high strength.
Hotmelt Cold and PUR Warm Colored cleaners. Heidelberg also
offers the optimum cleaners for its adhesives to enable you to
maintain and clean your perfect binder perfectly.
