Eurobind Pro - Intelligent Automation for Greater Net Output

• Gathering Machine. The low-vibration drives of the gathering machine enable reliable singling of the signatures, also with difficult materials. Individual servodrives make the collating modules (up to eight, with four feeders each) into autonomous units.
• Gathering Machine Magazines. The magazines use timed air blasts to reliably separate the sheets. An engageable 2:1 mode for even more dependable singling is also standard.
• Control Stations with Touchscreen Displays. The Eurobind Pro features local, ergonomically arranged control stations with touchscreen displays. The gathering machine and the Eurotrim 4000 automatic three-knife trimmer are each equipped with a touchscreen, and the adhesive binder with two or optionally even three touchscreens.
• Adhesive Binder. The adhesive binder is simple to preset using the stored catalog of product types. All required units, such as spine preparation and glue application systems, back stripper, cover feeder and cover pressing stations, are then selected automatically.
• Spine Preparation Stations. The Eurobind Pro has two spine preparation stations, with the option of adding a third or even fourth spine preparation station (with 24 clamps). Separation of the milling functions achieves top-quality spine preparation.
• Glue Application Systems. Three different glue application systems are available for spine gluing.
• Back Stripping Station. For making booklets with detached covers at the spine, a back stripping station can be optionally integrated.
• Cover Feeder. A large-diameter singling drum allows reliable processing of heavy covers as well. The magazine is equipped with two air blast units for laterally venting the pile. For making booklets with the cover detached at the spine, a hotmelt nozzle application system is available for the cover.
• Cover Pressing Stations. The cover pressing stations use longer process times and controlled pressure to ensure high-quality adhesive binding.
