162. These presses, in formats 6 (102x142 centimeters) and 7b
(120x162 centimeters), are used for letterpress and packaging

Hall 2 was a real magnet for visitors at drupa 2008. For the first
time, Heidelberg presented its new Speedmaster XL 162 and a whole
host of finishing options for the Speedmaster XL 105 and the new
Speedmaster XL 75.

Heidelberg dedicated the whole of Hall 2 at drupa 2008 to packaging
solutions. In the "Integrated Packaging Production"
section, visitors could follow a demonstration showing the complete
process involved in manufacturing a folding carton - from prepress
and press to die cutting and gluing.

demonstrations were given in the "Prinect" section of the
Heidelberg stand in Hall 1 alone and were well attended.
