Robin Karpp to Take Charge of Investor Relations at Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG

On January 1, 2011, Robin Karpp will be taking over as Head of Investor Relations at Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG (Heidelberg). In this role, he will be responsible for the company's communication with the capital markets. Karpp has worked in Investor Relations at Heidelberg since 2006 and will be taking over from Andreas Trösch, who is leaving the company at the end of the year at his own request. CFO Dirk Kaliebe commented on the appointment: "We are delighted to have found in the person of Robin Karpp an experienced Investor Relations Manager and therefore an ideal successor. Mr. Karpp has proven capital market experience, and his many years with Heidelberg have familiarized him with the Heidelberg Group and its internal processes. This ensures continuity and the continued reliability of our investor relations activities."

Following five successful years with Investor Relations at Heidelberg, Trösch will be turning his attention to a new challenge.

"Although we are very sorry to be losing Andreas Trösch, we respect his decision. He played a key role in ensuring that our Investor Relations activities and our communication with the capital markets reached such a high standard and one that is acknowledged by capital markets participants. We would like to thank Mr. Trösch for all his hard work and wish him every success for his future tasks," added Kaliebe.
